This John Ford Western stars James Stewart as an educated do-gooder, John Wayne as a quiet hero and Lee Marvin as a charismatic bad guy. The issue of the film is – who killed the bad guy?  The legend is untrue but becomes a founding myth of the American West. It’s fake news. It's Camelot.
